King County voters of all abilities can get assistance casting an early ballot at an accessible voting event from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Seattle.

For the event, four Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) will be set up at the Library’s Level 1 Dynix Gallery. These AVUs can help anyone who prefers to vote with audio assistance, which will be offered in seven languages: English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese. Voters can listen to election information, and fill out, print and submit their ballots.

King County Elections staff will be available to assist voters with the AVUs. They can also register new voters, update voter records, answer questions about accessibility, and help registered voters access their ballots. This event is organized in collaboration with the Library’s Library Equal Access Program (LEAP).

King County Elections offers other accessible voting options, including voting centers at seven locations.
