Learn how music helps children grow! Babies, toddlers and preschoolers can dance the day away at The Seattle Public Library's series of music and dance classes presented by the award-winning Seattle Baby Jam company from 11:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays, Sept. 9, 16 and 23 at the High Point Branch, 3411 S.W. Raymond St., 206-684-7454 .

In this three-part class series, parents and caregivers will make music and dance with their children. There will be hands-on drumming, percussion, multilingual songs, stories and games. The classes are intended to help young children develop brain-based skills, such as language and music abilities.
Classes are open to children ages birth to 5 years and their families. Families are encouraged to attend all three weeks.
