About the Collection

Capitol Hill Branch collaborated with Technical and Collection Services and the Washington Center for the Book to define the parameters for a collection focused on LGBTQ+ subjects and themes. The branch began building the collection with funding assistance from The Seattle Public Library Foundation in the early 2000s.
