Community Resource Specialist

Our Community Resource Specialists are usually available Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Central Library Quick Information Desk (Level 5). Community Resource Specialists can answer questions about social services in the area and provide information about or referrals to those resources. Events at the Library

Social Services Events at the Central Library

  • Coffee & Conversations: Wednesdays, 10-11 a.m. Join us for light refreshments and a chance for staff and patrons to connect.
  • Mobile Medical Van: 3rd Wednesday of each month, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Intended for those living homeless, the Mobile Medical van does not charge or require insurance. No appointment necessary.

Branches may also offer events related to social services needs or resources. Check with your neighborhood branch for more information.
