Use the ‘Search' button on every page of this site to open a search box. This searches everything we offer: our website, blog, event calendar, online resources and our catalog. BiblioCommons is our catalog provider, and on their site you can do a more advanced search for items in our collection and see how many of each item is available, and where.
Our catalog includes our entire collection of books for all ages, DVDs, audiobooks, large print books, downloadable e-books and music. The catalog also displays how many copies of an item we have, and where they are located. If an item is checked out, you can see when it is due back and place a hold on it. BiblioCommons is our catalog provider, and when you create an account on their site, you can reserve items to pick up at any branch, create lists, write reviews and more.
We offer dozens of online resources and research tools that you can use on any computer or mobile device with an internet connection. Log in with your Library card number and PIN to research consumer products, discover your ancestry, or search full-text articles from magazines and newspapers. Students can use encyclopedias and other resources to help them succeed in school and prepare for college.
We offer many opportunities for online learning, including all of the design, technology and business classes available through LinkedIn Learning when you log in with your Library card number and PIN. You can also take courses with the Microsoft Learn online, then take your Microsoft Office Specialist certification exam for free.
Use your Library account to borrow and download e-books and audiobooks on many devices. As with print books, these items are due in three weeks. Digital items return automatically after three weeks, but you can return them sooner if you like.
Kanopy video streaming offers over 30,000 current and classic movies you can stream for free with your Library card.
Our Hoopla collection allows you to stream up to 20 titles per month, on Apple, Amazon and Android devices. Movies and TV you borrow expire after 72 hours. You can also check out music and comics from Hoopla for one week.
Our Access Video collection requires no software, and lets you stream videos from Amazon, PBS, BBC, The History Channel, A&E and more, directly to a computer or mobile device. The collection includes thousands of documentaries, educational videos, performances and how-to programs.
You can read over 100 magazines on your computer or mobile device for free. Find the latest issues of popular titles and special interest magazines in our Flipster collection. You can also read digital magazines and newspapers through PressReader or search our catalog for other titles.
